The Forsyth County Community Bail Fund is a non-profit volunteer run organization which pays bail for folks incarcerated pre-trial.
Our founding board members all met each other in law-school, right here in Winston-Salem. Our board started this organization late in 2019 in an attempt to give back to this community and to help fight against what we see as deeply concerning procedural injustices within our system. Since then, we’ve grown in our connections to and collaborations with the broader community, and we continue to commit to our abolitionist values: no one is disposable, and everybody deserves freedom.
