The Forsyth County Community Bail Fund is a non-profit volunteer run organization which pays bail for folks incarcerated pre-trial. We’re a relatively new face in the community, both as an organization and in terms of our board.
Our founding board members all met each other in law-school, right here in Winston-Salem. Our board started this organization late in 2019 in an attempt to give back to this community and to help fight against what we see as deeply concerning procedural injustices within our system.
